Hello, I’m posting this as I’m very pleased with the way it has turned out. I don’t think I have painted clouds that I have been this pleased with.

        Open to critique.

        Thanks

Nice colors in the shadows of the clouds.

I really like your clouds.    Well done and I read your self progress.  Am happy for you. !

                If I might,
take off some of the deep blue under the clouds just a touch… (lift off the paint )
the deep blue starts at the top of the page and lessens to paler as you approach the horizon-  which you have done with quite light by the horizon,

I only say this because your clouds form a V shape and the middle of the V is the place where the eye goes first..   with the light and dark  which is stunning,

                Cheers Merri

if both clouds take only ONE direction you create more movement, you might also want to add some reflected light from the fields underneath and add some yellow ochre greyed at the bottom of the clouds (here is an example for practice, because it’s always nice to practise as you from paintings) (askart.com/assets/2023/9216_295195_750_1.jpg) great work, though
