Child Portrait (acrylic) [X post from Portraiture]

I thought I’d share this portrait I finished recently for someone.
Its Acrylic on Canvas and 10 x 12 inches.
I worked from a photo and changed what the girl was wearing and removed some hair strands that cast odd shadows.

Very nice portrait. Dramatic lighting and intense expression helps. I like the second one as you can see the lights in the shadows better.
