When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know PeaceApril 16, 2018 at 6:45 pm #605855this gives similar vibes as the oblong encaustic you made a while ago. i really hope you see my point when i say that this, too, would look right in a young person’s room. i haven’t seen too much art in this quality that would fit the bill, inspire but also challenge the mind yet keep the innocence and playfulness. this is really good!
C&C welcome
April 16, 2018 at 11:59 pm #605854The colors are so striking and beautifully blended I almost don’t care about the subject matter. Left side especially

it’s fun to have fun with a painting – even if it takes multi layers to get there – i’ve lost track as to how many are under this one.
no idea what it means, toxic waste? fukushima? humanity playing with fire? a pokey poppy exploding? whimsey? doom in the hands of children?
shrug
covering up one brings new lines/ideas to follow until a level of overall balance settles in, that’s pretty much all it is to me.
viewers/buyers ultimately decide what it needs to be.
or historians, long after i’m dead
lol, i hope they have fun wi’datla
