        Hi all,

I am looking for any book that teaches the basics of watercolor. I learned watercolor by feel and through a myriad of information that I could find online, but I want to get back to the basics so I can get a good foundation and apply what I know already on top of that. I am therefore trying to find a book that could help me with learning the basics of watercolor. I just ordered an old book by Arthur Guptill,  Watercolor Painting Step-By-Step hoping it will help me in my quest. I was wondering if you have any other suggestions or any favorite books that helped you getting started with watercolor. Thanks,

        Jerome

There’s a lot of great ones out there.I think the simplest from the beginning one I can think of is Alwyn Crawshaw’s “You Can Paint Watercolor-A step by step guide for absolute beginners”
