        I’d appreciate the critique :)

I think it’s really hard to evaluate sculpture via jpegs. I wish I could see the form in person. I will note that it feels, visually, to be rather calm and youthful, and maybe not quite finished. The grid does nothing to suggest conflict or violence, but suggests (to me) an intellectual problem.

I really appreciate that your art has a difficult, contemporary subject, and that it didn’t degenerate into something ugly. Let’s see more!

I just love your comment!  Thank you BeLing. The piece is for a contest regarding memory and the armed conflict in relation to Bogotá. Strangely enough, one of the rules state that the participating pieces can’t depict violence per se. I thought that was an interesting challenge, so I decided to take this particular path. I made this portrait as a testimony of some of Bogotá’s participants and emphasize in their anonymity.

                Thank you once more :)

PS: To be honest, I think the grid says a lot more about me than the subject ;)
