I spent three days last week at an Alain Picard workshop (he’s excellent);  I learned that in order to be more loose and relaxed I need to do a lot more prepping and pre-drawing, so I’m going to try to turn over a new leaf.  I came home to this piece nearly finished on the easel, and decided to remove several parts of the set up to strengthen the composition.  12×16 on UArt 500 Dark, Mount Vision, Sennelier, Art Spectrum Ultra Lights and pastel pencils to detail and blend.  Comments are always greatly appreciated.  Thanks for looking.  Neal

This looks likeyou thoroughly enjoyed setup to completion. That refection on the white ball pulls things together. More please! Are the balls  the same size? If so, check that those closest are larger than those in the distance.
