This was an experiment (and a lot of fun); I posted a large painting of a dogbane beetle a few months ago, and thought it would be fun to do him ‘life-sized’. This is two by three inches on UArt 400; Mount Visions and Mount Vision Iridescents, but mostly a variety of pencils. The close-up photos make him look a bit sloppy, but he’s kind of cute in real life. I’m enclosing the painting, the painting with a ruler for perspective and copy of the original painting. Let me know what you think. Thanks for looking. Neal
