Hey Folks,
Been on the road a bit at different events. Here are some from those events.
This one was the first day and it rained. Fortunately I had shelter and stayed dry while I painted. “Before the Rain” 10×8″ oil on linen panel
I painted this one looking down into the water almost at my feet. The thing I liked was the tree was visible that the snagged bobber line was hooked on. “Lost my Line” 12×9″ oil on linen panel
Painted this one at night (obviously) It was tough with all the people milling about, and I debated suggesting people in the painting. In the end, I kept the focus on the fire pit. “Fire Pit” 10×8″ SOLD
11×14″ painted at the canoe launch at Wekiwa Springs State Park. Early in the morning, the mist was on the water and had a pink glow to it. “Misty River” 11×14″ oil on linen. SOLD
This was also in Wekiwa Springs State Park but in a different location away from the spring. It’s a lake that is affected by how much rain the area gets. The less rain, the more the reeds grow and the less water is visible. The reeds this time of year are dormant and the sun lights them up in yellows and reds. “Morning Magic” 12 x16″ oil on linen panel
Quick little 5×7″ done at an event near where I live. I did this in about 45 minutes. It’s a creek down in a ravine so everything around it is woods. Definitely focused on simplifying. I liked the end result mostly. “Up the Creek”
9×12″ at the same event where I did the 5×7″ painting. I figured every other artist would be painting trees and the lake, so I painted the event tents. “A Great Day for a Festival” 9×12″ oil on linen.
Thanks for looking. C&C welcomed.

It’s been a great last month with sales and a few awards too, so I’m very happy with the direction of things. The painting with the bobber is one I really enjoyed. That pop of color you mentioned is the reason I painted it. Thank you for your kind words!
Thank you, Lucy! I appreciate it!

BarbApril 3, 2018 at 3:21 pm #596647AnonymousRandy, Very nice work, I really like the two tents.
April 3, 2018 at 7:49 pm #596639Thank you, Kay! This time of year Florida is nice though it’s coming to an end. We’re beginning to see the temps rise and with humidity, it can feel more like Summer than Spring.
Thank you, Trier! I appreciate it!!
Thank you, Barb!
Thank you, Hans!
