        Yes, the isle where the dying King Arthur was taken. (At least according to the legend.)

        9″x12″ on pastel paper.

            Yes, there seems to be a story here. Your stroke work and the direction of the tree limbs add movement to the scene. Those limbs guide the viewer within the picture. Well done!

                    Thanks for posting Rich!  It gets lonely in here!  I’m with Karen, I like the movement provided by the branches;  I also like the iridescent effect in the white clouds – looks like butterfly wings! – and adds to the atmosphere.  I’m looking forward to seeing more of your work.   Neal
