Bill was a long time valued member of our community who passed away after a lengthy illness. We will miss him. Rest in peace.

I looked at your intagram link, wonderful works, all so very you!
Your clay works are wonderful also, love the flowers and the roses are outstanding!Thank you !
As for the clay, I’ve been trying to master this medium for a long time with little success. It wasn’t until 2 years ago or so when I finally was able to come up with something that was actually presentable

Thanks. Despite having done it for several years now I still consider myself somewhat of a newb. I really recommend checking the #polymerclay tag on IG to see what people can do with it !

I just thought it sounded cool. Having Dr. Latin Scholar for a roomie kinda inures me. But I had second thoughts, so I changed it.

I wasn’t even sure of the language so couldn’t do a reverse look up.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kraken“The kraken (/ˈkrɑːkən/) is a legendary sea monster of giant size that is said to dwell off the coasts of Norway and Greenland. Authors over the years have postulated that the legend originated from sightings of giant squids that may grow to 12–15 meters (40–50 feet) in length. The sheer size and fearsome appearance attributed to the kraken have made it a common ocean-dwelling monster in various fictional works. It was first described by the Dane Erik Pontoppidan in 1752–53”.
Media : Oval 40cm/16in canvas, polymer clay and all kinds of acrylic stuff
Unfortunately, despite several attempts, I was not able to take a photo of it that would be accurate enough, most likely because of all the interference pigments I used to make it…
