How about a Sirène? I just killed a bunch of them in Baldur’s Gate, and they are tough! (They cast Dire Charm and then shoot you with poison arrows) :clear:
I remember coming up with a way to kill them that bordered on cheating but I’m not sure what it was exactly :wink2: Cheesing your way through these games was fun
@SusietheModel Cool ! What is the medium of choice ?

Every painting is a new adventure.April 3, 2018 at 10:57 am #596258Hey Michelle I’ve been trying to find a picture of a shrime, not having any luck any chance you could share one?
You made me curious.
Oh, by the way Cerberus sleeping would be cute, reminds me of Harry Potter and Hagrid’s dog Fluffy.

But I’m sure they will be very different takes on that, no two artists think the same.

Thank Goodness for that!
Mine has tons of scales and once I started doing them I lost tract of time and my legs were asleep.
Looks like I’ll be done on this one early…marathon session and all!

That’s a lot of scales for nine-heads! Mine doesn’t have scales, by every legend.

April 3, 2018 at 7:13 pm #596263So Bill are you doing a hydra also or is it just Susie?
The number of heads varies in different versions.
It is based on a water serpent in the myths, and serpents are snakes and snakes have scales.Source Encyclopaedia Britannica:
Hydra, also called the Lernean Hydra, in Greek legend, the offspring of Typhon and Echidna (according to the early Greek poet Hesiod’s Theogony), a gigantic water-snake-like monster with nine heads (the number varies), one of which was immortal. The monster’s haunt was the marshes of Lerna, near Árgos, from which he periodically emerged to harry the people and livestock of Lerna. Anyone who attempted to behead the Hydra found that as soon as one head was cut off, two more heads would emerge from the fresh wound.

But, No, my beastie is covered with fur, except in one important area. Found a great source pic.
Jaime, no WIP until the reveal day, April 21st. Try and contain yourself, like me. :wink2:
