Well, I have an idea that would get rid of the ant problem and give you a pet (that the landlord might not mind) at the same time…get a lizard! I know you would probably rather have a dog, but you could get a nice lizard and name it Spot, or Killer. Try to find one that doesn’t carry salmonella (like Iguannas do).
Boric acid powder mixed with peanut butter and put into small sections of drinking straws make good bait stations.
