Ani (I’m her daughter and I run this account for her) is a very private artist, she has been painting in isolation for most of her life, has a studio filled with hundreds of paintings that very few people have seen and she would like to start a conversation about art and what her paintings say to fellow artists.

I’m just an amateur artist. This painting reminds me Munch.

I absolutely love her strong use of colors. Interesting and very pleasing on the shape of  the barefoot woman, chicken and fish – the patterns used. The story itself is interesting, the more I look at it the story continues.  Has she named this piece.  I love the art of the women, chicken and fish – but could not identify what was just behind her.  Love it and keep coming back to look at it.  :good:

I really love this, there’s a lot of emotion here. The style is like Gaugin.

"I put my heart and my soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process." Vincent Van Gogh. But the turpentine didn't help.

I really like this style, reminds of Van Gogh’s style, especially of his painting with that bedroom scene, I forgot what’s it called.  Great use of color, and specifically I really like the similar values on the left side, which create an excellent design element, then contrasted by the dark values on the right.  Really great angles too, giving the painting a very aesthetically pleasing appeal to it.
