I am so glad I read this thread;
“In my opinion making money is not indicative of an artists worth.”
Im therefore pleased this is not a criterion for judging how good an artist you are as I would really suck, having never sold a painting.
Deciding if you are a progessional or not derpends who you are talking to, if you trying to sell someone a painting you’re a professional, if you discussing finance with the tax man you’re an amateur.
