I’m putting bunch of stuff into storage and traveling for a while, before I decide where I’m moving next.
I have a lot of good quality brushes in a dedicated stand (many sizes and shapes). I have no idea how to put these into storage properly so that they aren’t damaged (ie: the brush bristles themselves aren’t bent, etc.). I have attached an image, but I have others standing in jars.
Your photo isn’t showing. You can either the image icon on the bar above the text box or the attachment section below. (For full directions, if you need them check out the FAQ’s at the top of each forum.)
I’ve moved a lot. I would take the time to wrap your good brushes in a bit of parchment paper and lay them flat in a box and store them separately not in the stand. I’m not sure what kind of stand it is but you may be able to take it apart (if you do write down how you did it) and store it in a smaller box to save space.

You can purchase heat shrink wire insulation online for fairly cheap in all kinds of sizes. Just fine a size that fits around the ferrule and slip over the brush. At least for flats, rounds, and Filberts…
