This is a watercolour painting of an imaginary scene, but based on a demo by Kangkan Das. It is on A3 size 300 gsm cold pressed watercolour paper.

It looks like Varanasi ghats ,only the color of the water is too blue in my opinion !

Doug…Thank you. I now see what you mean.

Zelda, and Bill…I agree; it is too blue and distracting. I wonder if painting the water lighter would have helped, or should I have toned down the blue with some grey?
