Artists Statement

"The ocean has always been an inspiration to me. In my paintings it is my main focus. The goal in my work is not to create a painting, but rather to create a discovery. The discovery of beautiful beaches as seen by my mind. Be it full fantasy or familiar places. I'm not worried about the do's and dont's. For me, without breaking the rules the discovery would not be so unique. For when my mind and the canvas are able to re-create this place to share, I have succeeded."
