A mix of Burnt Sienna/French Ultramarine is placed along the dry yellow wash.
Using a damp brush, one edge is softened.

Several brush strokes may be required to get softened edge.

Paint could also be applied to dry paper without softening if a sharp edge was required.

Build up the banana's using the methods shown.

1. Apply basic wash .
2. Add shades of green at stems.
3. Using brown apply shadows and soften.
4. Paint in darker stalk and end's leaving hard edges.
