The value charts that are generated look horrible. The swatches are dithered, and don't look very realistic!

Chances are, you are either viewing the page using an older computer (one with an outdated, 16-bit video card), or your computer's video resolution is set to 16 bits or less. Most modern hardware (virtually any PC sold within the past 5 years) should render the pages properly.
