It is with great sadness...
that i've decided to leave WetCanvas. These last few months have been very trying and I feel I need to take a step back and concentrate on my art.
It's not only the recent flaming, but also the pressures of trying to moderate, and grow as an artist. It would be best if I just stay away.
To all of you I wish you much continued growth and success in your work, and I hope when I get a better perspective, i can come back and help out again...
so with these words I just want to say thank you and,
APRIL FOOLS!  
You're not getting rid of me that easily, even if you wanted. hehehe

Man, you nailed me! I fell for it hook, line and sinker!!! My first thought was.."Who has been FLAMING???" I was going to get out a rolled-up newspaper and go after the offender! Congratulations. Ya got me!

Boy - I feel 4 that too - actually made me tear up - til I got 2 the bottom.

Arlene. I was sure when I started to read your post that it was APRIL FOOL'S.
Today is my 42 wedding anniversary so I am always ready for anything on April 1st.
I'm glad it was a joke.

aw thanks folks, but no need to worry, I'm too addicted to this place...I mean this is how I start my day after reading emails...I come to WC.
Now I've given up regular coffee, drinking, and a host of other things...I think I'm entitled to one addiction!

Fern, yes I play poker...I was in my summer house many years ago and it was raining, and the men decided they wanted to play poker for dimes...I asked if I could play...Well you can imagine the comments...they finally let me in, and the women sat around watching and cheering as I beat the cr...stuffing out of all the men.

I know a group of coworkers that are going to play a wicked practical joke on their boss today. They do it every year a little differently and every year he falls for it, hehe! I'm sure I'll hear the funny story later...

YOU ARE MEAN!!!! I hadn't checked in here for a few days, and then I come and see this, and think, "Oh, no...What have they done to her in the last few days?"
