Re: What's On Your Easel, January 2012

Here is a 24x36 I painted today. I have tweaked the area on the left side of her hat, but this photo was taken prior to the tweaking.

Re: What's On Your Easel, January 2012

Is it really only the 3rd? So much great painting! I haven't posted much lately because of busyness and other things which have taken my attention, but I needed to have 3 finished paintings by saturday. One has been done by popular opinion (leave it alone, it looks fine as it is), and these two I just needed to put finishing touches on.

Re: What's On Your Easel, January 2012

Lots of people getting 2012 off to a good start! I finally managed to do an hour or so on this one earlier this evening; aspens in northern Arizona, 20 x 12 oil on gesso board. Colour reproduction is not great in the photo, will get some better shots tomorrow if I have time.

C&C welcomed, as ever!

Marcia, I agree with the masses, they are finished.

Hi to all!
Amazing work everyone.
WIP This is my latest work, 20"x30" oil painting-dry brush technique on watercolor paper.

Wowsers...some amazing work. Howdy Doody is soooo nostalgic..impeccable painting. Bird of paradise...amazing WIP...such depth created using that method.
