I love the idea of a scene from an open door or gate and I keep looking for a good one... You have found a beautiful one. Great job!

What a neat idea! Such a huge door done so small. Wonderful irony and great door.

Castle doors are always so spikey. Nicely rendered.

Tonight I Encourage all to call a friend or neighbor and tell them how grateful you are that you know them
Today I sat and watched my best friend leave this earth. We have been friends since high school. Often she was my only friend. My mother said the best thing you can give yourself in your old age is a friend.

Thanks for this reminder...my deepest sympathy goes out to you. Your friend was truly blessed to have a friend like you here on earth.

Remember her and the joyful times you've shared on earth--she'll be your forever guardian angel and will shower you with wonderful gifts and surprises all the days of your life; all you need to do is just stop, look and listen...rainbows; pennies on the ground; the first robin of Spring; a single tree with fire-red leaves in early autumn; the blissful quiet and gentle, sparkling dance of falling snow at Christmastime. She may no longer be here in the physical sense, but she's closer to you than she's ever been before.

I've sent prayers to my guardian angels for your peace and comfort in the coming days.

Janet

"Cat Nap" Colored pencil on Stonehenge.

You are so welcome, Carol. I am glad you enjoyed this kitty. He was meant to bring a smile.

I heart goes out to you...my heart and my prayers. It is so hard to lose those that we love, those that make our days fuller and happier, those that we lean on and who lean on us. That connection with your friend is still there even though she isn't with you anymore and it is a blessing as well as hard to bear. When her physical loss is hard to bear take the blessing of remembering and dwelling in the blessing of your connection with her. Try talking to her as if she is still there with you. Talk with her as you usually do and continue the connection. I agree with boatsie, she is your guardian angel now and she will hear you, but most of all you still have the comfort of her friendship.
