Question

Hi I haven't been here in a long time.
I just found a Paul N Norton watercolor painting in my new house and was wondering if anyone can give me a rough idea about it's worth. It is called misty morn at mystic it is on water color paper and still rolled up in a tube. It has obvious watercolor bleeding on the edges and quite possibly some actual pencil marks showing through. I'm not sure if I should take it to a museum or put it in the dumpster with the rest of the stuff left here by the former owner.........help

Re: Question

Don't dump it. Get someone to look at it if you want it valued or have it framed and hang it. It's probably worth something and may increase in value in time, but if it's a nice painting it's probably worth hanging on your wall anyway.

I found the link below.

Re: Question

It's worth just as much as someone will pay you for it, as is every painting every produced.
