Smile Doggie Graduation Day

Hello friends! Here I share the latest painting in my 'Doggie' series which I just finished yesterday. It's been raining for days thank goodness the sun came out briefly and I was able to take these photos. I hope you'll enjoy 'Doggie Graduation Day' and details:

Doggie Graduation Day, 24 x 30 in., Acrylic on Canvas.

Details:

She's saying "Watch out!"

The best doggies on Graduation Day!

Thank you for looking!

Re: Doggie Graduation Day

Too good for words Wilf!
I love the little recalcitrants who're just wanting to be a little independent, and the one in detention - poor doggie!
... and those coming to school looking a touch apprehensive!

...and how did that cat slip into the choir?

Strangely enough, I was thinking about your works earlier today - they remind me so much of Pieter Breughel the Elder's paintings from 500yrs or so ago - always loved his work too!

Thank you for bringing some joy into a morning

Re: Doggie Graduation Day

Thank you so much Jocko500 and Mz Sketch Pad for your nice comments. Everyone who saw this work loves Miss Congeniality, she's so cute in her tutu skirt and tiara. Hmmm... I'm thinking of my next painting with her as a star... in a doggie ballet school?
