The supposedly "simple" cartoons are the worst to get right! Glad Etosha likes her card.

Mariese3 received this about a month ago. Back from a month overseas, so back to business.
This shoe is a building which houses a curio shop in the middle of the country. Its a quaint place, and I love to stop there if I am in the area.

bigs received her Mt Fuji fire festival card. I worked in a town in Japan at the base of Mt Fuji, and they have this wonderful fire festival with these volcano-shaped bonfires through the centre of town. Quite an experience.

You're right, the simplest things can be the hardest. Love Caspar, he's such a cutie!

I have mixed up who got what and who told me ......did I say that right or am I still mixed up? Anyway, I have had to ask a few folk if my cards arrived, and Eileen has been so kind as to indulge my lapse of brain activity and let me know that she did get the toy top that I sent her and so I have finally added it to the gallery. Sorry some will be so late being put up on the site.

OK its probably hard to believe but I have used one of these - we called it a spirit iron because it used kerosene or white spirit and you lit it through the holes on the side - we used to have generator power and ironing didn't always co-incide to when the generator was working so we had that and an electric. I always worried I would blow myself up !! Great work on this Bonnie - you got that scary iron just right!

Didin't we all have these?! I know I had a pair - they were so icky compared to the ones you hired at the skate rink.....but I preferred ice skating - I felt more restricted with the wheels for some reason.
