Ork Bust Sculpt WIP

A break from my normal work but something I planned for a long time- While trying to make sense of my work space I found a pack of "Sculpey" modelling clay and broke it open and look what emerged.

Still a lot of work to do but happy with the way it's going- first time working in Sculpey. If it works out I'll try to make a mould to cast some of these in resin so I'll be looking for advice on that.

Cool! He looks a little bit sweet, not quite as horrible as I'd expect - more like Shrek than a real Orc. My pieces all have sweet faces too and I don't plan them that way - that's just the way I sculpt. This is a fun piece! I'm looking forward to seeing how he turns out!

I recommend watching "Lord of the Rings" - there are LOTS of nasty orcs there for inspiration! LOL And it will be fun research - SUCH good movies!!
