2nd Dec TGIF!
Morning....I stayed up all day to try to get myself ready for Sat. sale @ Spring Beads. Let's just hope I don't stay in bed all day tomorrow. We're supposed to have rain moving in and the barometric pressure is doing weird things....If I'm going to have a migraine, I want to get it before I get all my stuff together for Saturday. I don't want to prep for nada.
Wishing all a great day!
Happy creating,
ginger

Re: 2nd Dec TGIF!
Good morning, all. Ginger, good luck on getting to that sale.
I have a local morning job and a quick one in Kazoo this afternoon and then dinner somewhere other than my house tonight.
Sounds like a plan.
Enjoy. Ciao

Re: 2nd Dec TGIF!
Morning everyone...
Ginger...I hope you can avoid another migraine! Take care of yourself!
Other than school, the only thing on the to-do list is swimming. I'll do my mile and Izzy will have her lessons. I love my "Y".
Hopefully this weekend I'll get more knitting done on Christmas presents & DH & I need to start working on Izzy's dollhouse renovation. My parents built dollhouses for their granddaughters, except for Izzy...they passed away before she was born. One of my nieces passed her house on to Izzy, but it needs a rehab. DH is in charge of the exterior & some window replacement, and I bought scrapbooking papers for the interior walls. I have matching fabric for curtains & I'll knit some rugs and comforters. I hope she enjoys it. If not, then I'll play with it! LOL! I can't afford to redecorate our real house, but this is the next best thing!
LESLIE....Have a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!
Hugs..janie

Ginger good luck with your show. Positive thoughts, hopefully no migraines in your future.
Duane, the last little bit of snow here left us without power for six days. Don't rush it.

Re: 2nd Dec TGIF!
Karen - I live in a small town (pop.5,000-ish) so unless we leave town (I doubt it since I have to leave for a job this afternoon), we only have 2 choices for nicer places or 1 local bar.
Probably opt for our "usual." It's called The Grillhouse and has been featured on the food channel.
We always eat in the bar area and rarely use the big-ass grill they feature for steaks, etc.

Re: 2nd Dec TGIF!
Hi Karen. My FIL and I passed a generator back and forth. Used it just enough to keep things pumped out and refrigerators cold. We both have wood stoves for heat so no problems. Normally power is not out that long, but that storm took out a lot of trees and wires. All in all the power company people did good getting the power on that quickly considering the amount of damage.
Just cutting out and grinding the settings on some more glass eye blanks here at work. Took a bit of time to grind the bottom on the vase I posted in the weekend showcase. Might as well while the grinder is already running and you are already dripping wet. Later this evening I will be doing demos for the studio at the show grounds. I will probably end up doing a fair number of demos tonight as the majority of the studio people will be over at the main studio doing a first Friday demo.
