Stirling/mike Rip....you Will Be Missed Greatly!

I am very sorry to have to report this. But I just found out that Mike,(Stirling) passed away October 7th. Last time I talked to him a few months back, he informed me he had cancer, and when I just wrote to check up on him, his son told me about his passing. I know that I will miss him , his art, and his very helpful comments.

Yes I too am sad.

Stirling/Mike he was always encouraging in his posts to other artists!!!
I will miss seeing his posts.

Nicki - thanks so much for posting this. I have had a lot going on lately and have only been occasionally popping in, mostly lurking, from time to time and have noticed Mike hadn't been posting in quite some time.

I am so very sad to learn of Mike's passing - he was such a wonderful artist, and so uplifting and supportive to others. I'm really quite stunned to learn this news.

You are so welcome ginny. His son asked me to pass along the news. You know I have only been on this site for what 2 or 3 years. I really feel a connection to so many members. I know I would always be glad when I saw a post from Mike.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Mike was always there for us ... one of the regulars that I always looked for to read his posts. Very sad.

I too will miss Mike's postings and always positive attitude to all artists new to old. Very sad to hear of his passing.

I haven't been here much lately, but I did miss his comments and art.
So sad to loose good people this way.

What a shame. I absolutely loved his art and he was incredibly supportive of me, and many many of us here. This is very sad. Mike, you were a true legend and friend to many!!

. Loss of such a wonderful & caring human beings & amazing artists. Love their art so much. May their soul rest in peace but they will be forever alive in our heart & with their art.....

I am really saddened to hear this news. For me, Mike was like a piece of furniture in WC, always there when I logged in. He will be sorely missed.
