Paul, I like the way you are experimenting and enjoying working with acrylics. There are some nice blues in this one. The figures are a little large-headed and short-legged and the shoulders too broad, even in the far off figures. It is a good idea to look at photos in magazines of people walking in streets or along the beach and maybe just copying a few into your sketch book. A sketch book is invaluable for references of this sort. With a little more practice you will be able to pop figures into your landscapes without even thinking about it. Keep enjoying your painting, keep posting and never be afraid to ask for help. We are only too happy to give advice whenever you need it.
