Faces of Haiti-Yupo and Acrylic Ink

I was on a medical mission trip to Haiti last year. I took lots of photos of the people I met.

This is 9 x 11 Yupo paper with acrylic ink.

I have called my series "The faces of Haiti" each painting has a scripture incorporated into the painting. I use India ink for the writing. Since I don't see the scripture...must have added it after I scaned the painting into the computer...so sorry.

This is the photo I worked from.

Amazing work. The eyes seem so lifelike and she seems about to speak. So good of you to give your time to help those in need.
