The last pastel ( WIP ): 5 Hours.
I returned twice on the site to work according to nature (2 x 2, 30).
I need between 3 am and 10 am to realize a pastel.
My technique is explained in my previous comments: black paper, work on the contrasts.

C'est vraiment superbe! De mon côté, je ne suis pas trop pastel, alors ça m'impressionne toujours de voir d'aussi belles œuvres faites avec ce médium!

Thank you Mama_mango. Yes I always work on the same paper: black Canson MT. I tried many of the other papers. But it is on the black Canson that I make a success best of my paintings. Why? I do not really know. (And thank you for writing me in French I hope that we understand my "American"... ).
