Re: Different Strokes September 2011
Thanks Maureen and Inky. I enjoyed it but it is the first painting I have done for a while and took some getting into. Glad I finished it.

Re: Different Strokes September 2011
What wonderful entries! Well done everyone!
Maureen - You really did the eyes beautiful!
Carol - Your cat is simply gorgeous! I love the way you did it. You really captured a "cat-moment" and your pointilist tecnique is great!
Trevor - Beautifully done! I like your style.
Dewi - What a lovely painting! The eyes are so alive, and the fur looks touchable!
Wysi - Only your 6th painting? Well done! She is gorgeous. And your two year old brought a funky feel to it!
JT - Nice reflection.
Bonnie - Striking painting, mesmerizing.
Inky - What a nice dotty abstract! Well done, and the colours are so vibrant!
Chammi -Beautiful painting. The eyes look right into your soul. The postman will definately bring a saucer of cream with his next delivery!
Happy painting!

Re: Different Strokes September 2011
Thank you everyone for the compliments, I had a heart attack when my daughter added the red! Thankfully you can save it without too much setback and you can't tell really! LOL
Chammi those eyes are simply amazingly stunning! WOW. Just... woooww! The mail slot has me giggling inside. (Outside is still a bit slackjawed with the eyes...)
