2nd Face
Hi,
I've not posted for a little while, been busy with the day job, but i have just finished this little painting.
I enjoyed painting this image, I wanted to try and maintain the texture of the mask while enjoying applying the colours.
9" x 12", Policromos on black Canson.
Kindest regards
John

Re: 2nd Face
Wow great work John very well executed in every way. With work like this you should drop that day time job, they only interfere with our fun.

Re: 2nd Face
I like the drama you've created with the dark background. Do I sense a series in the making???

Re: 2nd Face
You accomplished keeping the texture of the mask. Great colors and shading.

Re: 2nd Face
Thank you all for your very kind comments and sorry for the late reply, that busy day job has kept me away. The painting is now mounted and framed and the effect of the shading seems to make the mask stand out form the painting making it really 3D.
Many thanks
John
