Sorry I've been AWOL from the forum for a while.
Here is my latest floral painting

Red and white amarylis
oil on linen canvas
50x50cm
I started this ages ago and left it lying around for a while as I wasn't pleased with the shadows. I think I've nailed it now what do you think?

C&Cs welcome. Sorry about the glare on the photo, if I photograph it in the shade it comes out too dark, and in the sun I get this glare. I have a brand new expensive camera so I can't blame my camera

Wow that is really pretty, wonderful details and handling of the striations, excellent job. I get the same thing photographing at times doesn't take away from your talent so no worries.
