Portrait. John Malkovich

Hi, I posted two portraits last week, and asked for some advice on proportions. I got some very helpful links :-)
I'v painted another portrait using the tips from the links.

Actor John Malkovich, Acrylic on canvas 2 hrs.

Re: Portrait. John Malkovich

Great portrait! Especially love the brush strokes around and on the forehead, going round like that. Colours are attractive. The only thing I would spend more time on are the eyes, they are always very important. It makes him look a bit scary like this, I would say. ;-)

Very loose, very expressive, very nice!

But that is what is so unique about Malcovich - the eyes. Good job, spurs6

Re: Portrait. John Malkovich

:-) Thank you very much for your comments everyone :-)

The eyes are a bit off still, the left eye is slightly lower.

Like the colours and the brushstrokes. You have a great style. Good advice from Aari. He is an absolute master at portraits.

Superb work! He's a favorite actor, and this is undoubtedly 'him'... with lots of style as Chammi has noted
