flower with mushroomd & dandelion seeds

These were drawn from life.

I drew the flower and mushroom witha Faber Castell Pitt Artist Pen XS. For the dandelion I use a standard automatic lead pencil that I can break the tip off as I draw to keep it sharp. I'm not doing this type of botanical art as much, I'm landscape painting more now, but I do enjoy it when I do.

Aleada, these are lovely Botanicals! You forgot to tell us the sizes. Btw, I find the copyright signs a bit distracting.

Re: flower with mushroomd & dandelion seeds

Hi Katherine,

Thank you for the kind words.

Oh I also find the copyright stuff distracting, but I'm working my way around the web and all that it takes to get the website and stuff and I don't want people printing my art without paying for it. I need to be a working artist, I have ideas on how I will use my drawings to sell and I don't want to give it away. I know many on line galleries use a watermark and many artist just present their art in very small sizes.

OK let me get these small drawings and give you a size, I scanned them so they were able to be shown much larger than they were drawn. The Dandelion is 4.5" X 3.25" darn I can't find the other drawing, it's bigger but small, I'm a bit disorganized for now, in the process of organizing my sketches. to post on the web and archive.
