Re: Project Discussion: Animals!
Kurlie...I love my Tech no Chick. The photo doesn't do it justice though...he is a bright fuschia pink and purple. He is definitely a "wild and crazy guy"! Awesome!

Re: Project Discussion: Animals!
Oh! I forgot...I meant to say that I thought your idea for "alternative art" was a great one Mona. My aunt recently sent me a book about ATCs that is super-fab. It has a lot of different techniques to try out. I'm itching to try one...

Re: Project Discussion: Animals!
Im discouraged. I sent 5 cards out at the same time. Only 2 have been received. (2 of the 5 sent to Europe). Still have my fingers crossed for Dekalb, IL. Has anyone heard from Dominic or Ferlian?

Ferlian sent a pm to let me know he was traveling, that's been a week or so, maybe he's not home yet.

Mona P: Thank you for the kind words; moreover, thank you for taking the time and effort to consolidate the 'Zoo Gallery'...it's really great to see everyone's work together in one place. You're a hero!

Re: Project Discussion: Animals!
Mareise, Dominic just started a new job and they're working him to the bone. I'll ask him on Facebook if he's received anything. Ferlian is on vacation without a comp so we'll hear from her when she gets back. So don't worry I'm sure they'll arrive. Dom hasn't received mine yet either and I sent it a good long time ago. It's funny it's either really fast to Europe or agonizingly slow. Val hasn't received mine either but Australia always takes awhile. It's always worrisome though isn't it.
Tammy your owl is great. The colour of the feet and eyes really make it. (we have Great Horned Owls here, tonight they are out back making monkey like noises, silly birds)
Janet, Your carousel bunny is lovely. I love this series of yours!

Re: Project Discussion: Animals!
Thanks Virginia. Janet I love the bunny. He is sooo handsome. I really like the carousel idea. We have a carousel at our MLB ball park in Detroit. It's all tigers. I was thinking how fun it would be to do the animals in that style..you beat me to it. Just lovely!
