jocko500....thank you very much.
sharkbarf...and thank you very much too, I like hearing what others think, makes me think. But let me see if I can be more clear in my thinking regarding this drawing for you.
As does the Bible not give scientific explanation it does give the opportunity to
gleen religious experience from it. Anything else is an image and a way of describing things whose aim is to make those profound realities graspable to human beings. Distinguishing between the form of portrayal and the content
that is portrayed is a necessary human function. Form would have to be chosen from what is understood and understandable at the time. For me creation was altered, brought into dis-order which effected everything from that moment on..animals, humans, environment, health, it would have been far more 'busy' had I tried to include it all so I merely went with the suggestion of a void, the Lion of Judah which is an ancient symbol of the tribes of Israel, and today the Christian symbol of Christ the offspring of David, both God and man, man which my Adam and Eve represent in falling from grace and from there rather then selecting environment, health, et al, I chose to select the long arm of the result of sin which included the animals and not all of them to be sure..haha The result was to suggest that
all of creation, represented by a few became 'subject' to death, fear, the only animal suggesting dominion over man was the snake, the devil, for those that would gleen from their own knowledge of the story of Genesis it would make some sense was my thinking.
More then likely not to everyone which is fine we each understand what we don't understand differently.
In loosing sanctifying grace all these things came to pass and come to pass throughout history to this day. Recognized or not it was a particular choice to do it this way. Busy perhaps but I promise I am not bipolar or a snake charmer, just using the one thing left to mankind...free choice.
I do appreciate your comments, I seriously do and I humbly thank you for them.
