Bissett Wins Award of Merit in ISAP International

"The ISAP International Fall Online Show is now installed*at www.isaponline.com . There were 97 images juried in by John Cogan out of approximately 300 entries from 36 US states and 11 foreign countries. The Show Director tells me that this is a beautiful, ecclectic and very strong show. The Award Meter now stands at just over $4000 in awards for the show. Invite all your friends to view this first International Open Show by ISAP. A special event of this show will be a viewing area*called the *Back Room where those paintings that didn't make the main show can be viewed."

Got two paintings in the show and one, Fishermen, they gave an Award of Merit.

Fishermen, 24x24", Acrylic on canvas

Clouds on the Kootenai, 30x24", Acrylic on canvas

Check out the show...some very fine work from all over the world!

Re: Bissett Wins Minor Award in ISAP International

Congrats, Bob, on the august company you're now in! In fact, I've taken the liberty of editing your post title, because an Award of Merit ain't "minor!"

Thanks, Diana! I guess I was a little disappointed I was out of the cash awards.

Bob - Congratulations! And the colors in 'Fishermen" are so vivid and eclectic. Just beautiful. Now I need to look online at the rest of the show. Thanks for the info on it.

Re: Bissett Wins Award of Merit in ISAP International

Congratulations! Both pieces are well executed. The moodiness of the second piece made me think of those fishermen who weren't going out on that morning. Best they wait for a better day...

Thanks for the inspiration, harbor no regrets, you beat the odds by being accepted. Cyndi
