Use to denote nudity/mature subject matter Hanna Broken

Hanna (the model I work with) broke her wrist on Sunday practicing for roller derby. Though not a lucky break for her, it was for me - I quite enjoy working from unposed figures; the discomfort from the break, the pain-killers, the fact her arm had to be kept elevated to reduce swelling, and the gorgeous sunshine (unusual here at this time of year) meant there really was no alternative to lounging around the backyard, chatting, and playing with the dog while I drew.

(These are done in felt-tip pen & ink in a sketchbook)

Re: Hanna Broken

Thanks suz_lyn! I quite agree re the last two....
jjackm - - but you aren't showing your age by saying that, apparently it's been a popular sport in various forms since the 1880's. It's beginning to go through another boom again (there's a new league starting up in this neck of the woods...)

Will do Sandra, she'll appreciate it. And thanks; & I'm looking forward to getting more practice, as the cast may be on for up to two months. Re. the movie, apparently it's Whip It, Barrymore both directs and acts; it seems to have good ratings (plus it was made in Canada! who knew...)
