Should I or Shouldn't I

This image reminds me of an artist thinking if he should add one last stroke to his canvas.

Re: Should I or Shouldn't I

Norm,
Your photographs reminds me of Rodin's The THINKER. But what is the green chord going around your neck?

What I find interesting about the two photos is that although they are identical, the coloring makes a difference in the mood of the photo. I keep scrolling up and down. The colored picture almost looks like you are smiling. But the B and W photo looks more pensive and serious.

Anyone else get this reaction?

Luv

What is behind me is the decorations on the wall in the local Golden Arches.

The green object is my jacket hood tie. My old one wore out, so I replaced it.

I did NO WORK on this image - except resize and cropping.

We were in for lunch at this time. My expression is meant to be more serious - as this is my personality - most of the time - especially when it comes to art - but other things too..

I hope this helps.

Here is the companion image to me. She is wondering - just what is he thinking?

Yes, Lorell, I had exactly the same impression...more serious in the black and white, slightly smiling in the color photo. Interesting how it has that effect.

One guess is that color adds more subtly to a portrait. I do think, Norm, you may have been on the verge of a smile even though you may not have been conscious of it. And it became more apparent in color. Just guessing.

You could be right, desrat. I may have been smiling, but did not notice it when Anne did the image. As I replied earlier, I am mostly serious when I am around art - Anne will confirm this - this surprises me - but cams never lie.
