Memorial portrait for a friend

My latest project, graphite and CP portrait of a good friend's Toy Manchester Terrier, who died last fall.

Twist was the foundation of her very successful breeding program and her closest companion for 17 years. She was a wonderful lady, a champion herself, the producer of many champions and a great-great-great grandson showed at Westminster this year.

Portrait was done from a photo I took of her several years ago and while I don't usually do backgrounds with my portraits, this needed the Colorado mountains. My scanner 'died' and this isn't a good camera image ... too blue in tone and where the background is blue, should be white.

What a wonderful tribute to Twist. I'm sure your friend will be so glad to have this.
