I am totaly blank no ideas at all ,well .what about a simple house ,tarted up a bit could look ok //better than nothing I suppose .it keeps the old paints wet ,and its no use sitting and talking to my self ,a bit of therapy I call it ,, I may get inspired

for todays sketch I decided to try a lakes scene It was an easy way out
I used plenty of burnt umber and just a touch of cad yellow to make a little greenery at the base of the hill .I would say a little towards the welsh mountain look .(I watched a documentary last night on the welsh artist August John) I think it influenced me to try this one ,do have a go and make use of my ideas ,you artists trying out watercolours ..the lake was pains grey .wxn (blue cast)

the mountain in the distance was a touch of indian red and ultramarine
I see it would look a lot better if the trees on the left were not there . it looks a little to heavy on the left .another case of me adding to much .when I forgot a little is more,
sorry ,you new to watercolours ..can leave out those disstracting trees and lower the fore ground on the left ,but dont take my words to seriously .do your own thing .

some times I feel sorry,, I have not commented on each and every one of the fantastic painters on here ,but there are so many great ones and I go through them with awe .to me you are all unbelieveable
and wonderfull artists doing a fantastic job ,

some times we try some thing different and it comes off
and with so little content
here is the mouth of the River Liffey.... I may have show before .I forget ,,, the serries three men in a boat inspired me
