Large Abstract
Hi, This is a large 120 x 120cm canvas using Stucco as the base, then acrylic with pastel on top.

Re: Large Abstract
I like the slight hints of color reaching into the neutral upper half. Nice textures in this and the slashes of lines keep the eye moving through it.

Re: Large Abstract
This image appeals to me on many levels Katie. Emotionally, Visually, and Lyrically. win win win.
You better take this one by a gallery and show it off.

Re: Large Abstract
Nice work.
I do almost all my abstracts large. The bigger the better I say.

Re: Large Abstract
Great looking with vibrant colors and more exciting with the sudden insertion of the unexpected gray neutral space.
I see this like a cave painting or perhaps something like early Native American art. The colors are so alive (I almost always love red) with strong contrasts. lines and suggested images flashing at me as the eye scans back and forth and all around. It is almost manic in how it is trying to convey a message in a non-linear way. It has a collage look like you were pasting up bits and pieces from here and there to create a complete story of something improtant.
This is a really striking composition and it is easy to like although not so easy to describe. Good work Katie!

Re: Large Abstract
Hope you get some good money for this one
...and some buyer that will put it in a place that it can be appreciated by more than a few people. Again Katie, this is a really cool abstract for so many reasons.

Re: Large Abstract
Couldn't agree more with the other posters here.
Love the texture and the movement of this piece. I find the use of pastel
on top of acrylic interesting.
Big is beautiful! Please show us more!
