Thank you all for your encouragement. Don't worry. I did not let that teacher hold me back. I don't think some teachers realize how much their words can sting. I have gone on to create some nice work....just nothing with hands or feet. LOL. Watercolor is new to me so I have all the usual struggles of any new medium. I appreciate all your comments.

I agree with Em. The only thing I would change would be to tone down the light patch at the base of his right upper arm. IMHO this distracts the eye from the important parts of the work. |

Hmmmmm...... I know you "ink people" really like your ink (and I love what you do with it) but I think that ink would qualify as another color because it adds black detail, which I would prefer you do with your darkest value of your original color. So sorry, I don't think we should add ink, at least for this project. Hope you don't mind???? |

finally finished my entry. actually, it only took about 15-20 min. i kindof enjoyed doing it. this project may see more than one entry from the baby brush.
