Into The Woods

48 x 30 x 1.5 gallery wrapped canvas done with palette knife. Once again, I did a 10 x 8 Plein Air study from the back of my "Paintmobile" and did the 48 x 30 in the comfort and warmth of my studio.

Palette knife with Chroma Interactive Acrylics

Yeah...nice one Richard. I like the vertical format and the dark background popping the foreground trees. Nice work....."paintmobile" is a good name for the PT Cruiser.

Wow! That's huge! I like the tall vertical format and the way you got the texture on the aspen trunks. This is fantastic. Sounds like your Paintmobile is a lot of fun!

Re: Into The Woods

Thanks Ron & Robert - appreciate the feed back. I actually used my hair comb to paint the trunks of the pine trees. Spread the paint on with palette knife and then lots of fun with the hair comb!
