That is awesome! I know many of guys that would love to have something like that or the ability to create something so cool looking. You did a great job. It looks like you also made the rock formation that he's standing on which has an interesting shape to it too. The paintup looks very good as well.

Thank you for your nice words..yes I did the base aswell from a bit of MDF and styrofoam covered in the same air dry clay as the dragon.

What's "MDF"? AWESOME job on the dragon, he's very cool! How did you make the texture on his skin? Did you have a tool that shape or did you carve all those scales? This is a remarkable "first" sculpture! Looks like a mature work to me! Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing!

Yes it is my first sculpture, normally just draw but someone suggested trying to sculpt one of my drawings.....so here he is.
The scales were individually carved in with a stitch picker you get from a sewing kit. That way no two scales are the same.
