A Wintry Shore xp January Pastel Spotlight

A Wintry Shore
Pan Pastels on Clairefontaine PastelMat Buttercup color (darker gold)
Photo reference by Paula Ford

This month's Pastel Spotlight has six landscapes and a street scene. I know I want to do all of the landscapes at least once, some of them more than once. The photos are wonderful. Check it out if you like pastels. Or even if you don't, just message Paula to ask if you can try them in another medium.

I like this one a lot, Robert. You are really cooking with those Pan Pastels!

Thank you! I'm definitely looking at doing more landscapes with them, it was so easy to get that loose effect using the wedge sponge.
