2010 Acrylics Forum Show
It's time to make our Annual Gallery of your best work shown in this forum during 2010.
If you have posted work here during 2010 you are invited to choose ONE piece to exhibit and you must provide the link to the original thread so people can comment there.
Please do not comment on other people's work in this thread, use the link!
When you upload, please state size and support used (canvas, paper etc) and perhaps a comment on why you chose this particular work.
This thread will remain open until the end of March when it will be closed and moved to the Hall of Fame for viewing.
Thank you.

Re: 2010 Acrylics Forum Show
I'll go first! This is my '62 Vette painting. I chose this for a couple of reasons - I am very new to painting and this was by far the best I have posted, and also this was my very first attempt at painting a car. Had lots of fun with it!

Re: 2010 Acrylics Forum Show
This is my favorite painting for the year. It was by far my most difficult and consequently, my most satisfying. This painting is called "Salama" which is Swahili for peace and security.

11"x 14" acrylic on board.

Re: 2010 Acrylics Forum Show
Oh goodness, it's tough to be the one to post after Ian...
Well, here goes. My best achievement for 2010 was "Hero Sandwich". It's the one that I persisted with, until I felt that I couldn't improve upon it. I was pleased with the composition and glad in the end that I took some risks.
The wip posting is here: http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=613181.
I don't think I ever did post the fully finished piece, so here it is. 30x24 on canvas.

Happy New Year!
I chose this for its impact but I still don't have a suitable title. It's 16x20 on canvas panel.
Here's the original thread. It contains a link to the wip thread. : http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=613401
Coralie thinks it's tough following Ian, well try following Ian and Coralie. Great work everyone!

Peony, 16"x16" on canvas. Original thread.
I chose this painting because it presented so many problems and frustrations for me that I was really glad when I'd finished!
