First of all, hope you had a good xmas, and i hope you all have a good new year
Recently I have been fascinated with Epoxy resin finishes to paintings. They really make the colours look outstanding, and the finish looks like the painting has a glass front on it. It looks like the painting has been framed, and the glassy finish looks amazing. For me its the colours. The colours look so vibrant after it has been finished with Epoxy resin, and it makes such a vast difference.
I was just wondering whether any of you use Epoxy resin for your paintings? and if any of you have used the liquitex pouring medium as a substitute. Epoxy resin is toxic, and you need ventilation, and protect yourself, whereas the liquitex pouring medium is safe to use. Just wondered if the liquitex pouring medium had the same glassy finish like the epoxy resin does
